Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to logging in, usually a code sent to your phone, on top of your password. Even if someone steals your password, they still cannot get into your account without that second code. Enabling 2FA on email, banking, and social accounts is one of the simplest ways to meaningfully improve your personal security.
